English Weekly Update

Our goal for this semester is to build on our reading skills we worked on last semester and to expand our vocabulary using root words practice.

This week

The students are using the literature book to gain a better understand of reading comprehension. They will read the story assigned, then complete a number of worksheets and test/quizzes. This unit the class will be focused on Non-fiction narratives.

Monday- No school

Tuesday- Warm-up A, In class reading of the story, and homework Vocabulary worksheet.

Wednesday-Warm-up B, Section Test

Thursday -Writing About the Big Question Worksheet, Section test corrections

Friday- District Spelling Bee trip
